A: You’re most probably in the wrong layer. From the Editing layers panel, select the appropriate layer (i. e. Outline or Mask or whatever.

Don’t worry, that happens to all of us, all the time.

Does it make sense to use a grid for joining the modules together to letters?

We think it often does; if the modules fit a grid, it will make it easier to make connections that fit properly. Not always, but in many cases… a very organic looking typeface might not get the same advantage from a [...]
